Plantoz Fungi Blue is a highly effective methylene blue-based treatment designed to combat a variety of fungal and external protozoan infections in both freshwater and salt water aquariums. it is especially effective for treating fungal infections on fertile fish eggs and superficial fungal infections on fish. Additionally, it provides support in stressful conditions, such as high nitrite levels, and offers protection against certain protozoan parasites.

Treats fungal infections on fish and fish eggs. Provides protection for newly laid fertile eggs, increasing hatch success. Controls external protozoan parasites like: Ichthyophthirius (Ich/white spot disease), Chilodonella, Costia (Ichthyobodo necatrix). Helps reduce stress caused by nitrite spikes. Safe for fresh water and salt water aquariums
Recommended Uses:
- Fertile fish egg disinfection and fungal prevention.
- Treatment of fungal lesions on fish skin, fins or gills
- Protozoan infections affecting the fish’s body or gill surfaces.
- Emergency aid for fish under environmental stress.
Dosage and instructions
- For treating fungus or ich (white spot disease): Add 1ml of fungi Blue per 5liters of aquarium water
- For disinfecting fertile fish eggs: Add 1ml per 10 liters of water in the hatchingtank or egg container
- For small or sensitive fish species: Add 1ml per 10 liters of water to minimize potential sensitivity
Treatment Duration:
Repeat dosing every 48 hours (every alternate day) Perform a 20% water changebefore each dose. Continue treatment until all signs of infection have subsided.
Important Guidelines:
- Remove activated carbon, zeolite and other chemical filtration media before treatment to prevent absorption of medication.
- Maintain adequate aeration during the course of treatment.
- Fungi Blue may temporarily stain water a blue tint- this is normal and fades after treatment.
- Do not overdose.
- Follow dosing strictly to avoid fish stress
